Concert by Myself
My Solo Experience @ a Wednesday Night Concert
Had the privilege to stand by myself at Brighton Music Hall for $20. The bartender supported me with timely drinks & for that I am forever thankful. A fan of the opener Frex, and heard ASAL who was the headliner for the first time, great. It’s Boston so I was taller than half the audience, also at 27 the back bar was more than comfortable. Saw some things I never would’ve noticed people watching the audience as they filled in so let’s recap together.
First, a 40ish year old looking dude wearing neon glasses unironically, his buddy is 20 years Union and could beat the shit out of me but needs to stretch first.
Fashion comes back every twenty years so I’m just seeing early 2000’s stuff make a comeback. There were some simple things like jean and jacket styles. But then there were some things I thought that went the way of the dodo bird.
Going to say my second favorite thing I saw first which was a butterfly tramp stamp on a white trash looking woman. May they never go extinct.
Following that up is something low-key better & less misogynistic. I saw a Juicy couture jump suit. That’s the tweet no notes. Well, actually emphasis on the juicy.
Cool black guys. When I tell people I’m part black I imagine I’m these guys saying that. They had the fits down, vibes solid, and not a fuck to give.
Too many man buns that were all giving white sushi chef from the league.
Digital & Polaroid cameras galore as I was the weirdo who typed this in the back.
